My name Morgan has no family history and there is no particular reason or explanation for my name. I think my mom and dad just loved the name and decided on it. It comes from a Welsh background, which i am not. Mor comes from the word sea and Gan comes from the word born. This is definitely something I did not know. I thought when i researched my name I was going to find something interesting and fun about my name, but other than the fact that it was mostly a males name before the 1980's, kind of bummed me out. I feel my name fits who I am, I could not imagine myself as anyone else. :)
